At SEFE, our journey to enhance our high-performance computing (HPC) platform led us to a strategic collaboration with EPAM, our trusted partner since 2015. In pursuit of modernisation, we chose to migrate to Microsoft Azure, aligning with our vision for the next generation of energy trading. EPAM, recognised as the 2023 Microsoft Partner of the Year, brought deep engineering expertise to bring our cloud-native HPC solution, High Performance Compute Capability (HPCC), to life. The outcome? Increased scalability, faster time to market, and an impressive estimated 66% cost savings over five years. This collaborative effort not only bolstered our financial transparency and resilience but also set us apart in the energy trading industry. As we look to the future, EPAM remains committed to supporting our cloud transformation, with plans to migrate additional servers in the coming years.

Key Achievements:

  • Strategic collaboration with EPAM for HPC platform modernisation.
  • Successful Microsoft Azure migration for a cloud-native HPC solution (HPCC).
  • Results include increased scalability, faster time to market, and estimated 66% cost savings.
  • Improved financial transparency and resilience.
  • Ongoing support from EPAM for our continued cloud transformation journey.
