Since 2012, SEFE Marketing &Trading Switzerland (SM&T CH) along with the Group’s trading desk have been undertaking origination activities in equity supplies, gas logistics and storage optimisation with an emphasis on Eastern and Central Europe.
SEFE office in Switzerland focuses on business activities related to compliance and voluntary carbon credits origination. SM&T CH supplies mandatory carbon credits for the German compliance market (within the framework of the EU Fuel Quality Directive) at beneficial commercial conditions which support fuel price reduction for end customers. Voluntary carbon credits are supplied to corporations wishing to offset their carbon footprint.
