An exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Operations function in Manchester

IN SHORT

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious individual to join our Commercial Operations function in Manchester on a fixed term basis.

In this role, you will support various processes within the Credit Control department, with a primary focus on site visit administration and third-party debt recovery administration.

We are not seeking someone with extensive experience; rather, we are looking for an individual eager to acquire new skills and build a career. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Working within the Credit control department and the wider business, responsibilities include:

  • Managing and administering site visit results
  • Exploring various communication channels to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Effective management of customer driven queries from vendors
  • Telephony support on incoming outsourcing line
  • Administering of closure files and end of cycle reviews
  • Liaison with agents based at third party management teams, including debt recovery agencies, solicitors, meter disconnection specialists
  • Close collaborations with internal teams to resolve technical and contentious blockers within the debt recovery and termination cycle
  • Minimise risk, ensuring all queries are managed within timely SLAs
  • Contribute to team meetings and support senior recoveries personnel with recommendations for improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

We are seeking a candidate with exceptional investigative skills and an agile mindset. This individual should be able to adapt and respond swiftly to a variety of queries and thrive on challenges. Additionally, they should possess excellent telephone and tracing activity skills, all while keeping the overall team goal of protecting the debtor book in mind.
