The Corporate Controller will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of corporate balances within SM&T’s books and records, focusing on General Ledger (GL) accounts split by profit or cost centre levels. This role includes significant control activities, such as performing balance sheet and P&L integrity checks, and acting as a gatekeeper for how activities are captured in the SAP ERP system.

In this hands-on position, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the SM&T Group meets its global indirect tax compliance obligations, including VAT and energy taxes. Your duties will include preparing or reviewing indirect tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, such as the UK, France, Netherlands, Singapore, and Mexico.
