The ETRM Team provides support and customisation for Trading IT’s Trading Systems and its integration into the wider landscape.

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join the team and assist in the implementation of a new ETRM and supporting tools.

 

What You Will Do 
We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong understanding of business requirements, able to perform technical business analysis when necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering agile software solutions using Microsoft technologies, ensuring that all stages of the development lifecycle and relevant standards are rigorously followed.

In this role, you will be responsible for handing over completed solutions to the IT support team, as well as providing 3rd line support to maintain high-quality service continuity. Documenting and sharing knowledge about all development processes is essential, enabling effective collaboration and knowledge transfer within the team.

• Responsible for complex projects involving C#, SQL Server and web UI frameworks (Vue, Angular, lit-element)
• Responsible for implementing ETRM software solutions and customisations
• Communicate in both verbal and written with the ability to explain a technical subject to a non-technical audience
• Balance ideal solutions with practical delivery of requirements

 

What You Will Bring
We are seeking a self-starter with a strong commercial awareness and a value-focused approach, able to work independently with minimal supervision. This role requires a proactive individual who can take initiative while keeping business goals and efficiencies at the forefront of their work.

An understanding of commodities trading would be advantageous, as it will provide valuable context for our industry-specific projects. Technically, the ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft .NET, C#, WebAPI, and OAuth2, along with experience working with modern web UI frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or lit-element. Familiarity with Typescript would also be beneficial.

The role also involves working with continuous integration and deployment practices, utilising Azure DevOps to streamline and improve our development processes.

• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge is required & MongoDB would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID principles
• Experience with High Performance Computing platforms would be an advantage
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SpecFlow would be an advantage
