We are looking for an experienced Workplace Support Analyst to join our evolving IT function in Manchester.

Working as part of small team you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the SEFE IT infrastructure runs smoothly. A key part of this role includes providing first-line support to employees covering hardware, software and network issues. Working predominantly on site, you will collaborate with other IT professionals and maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and other relevant information to improve future support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role of IT Workplace Support Analyst involves providing timely and professional technical support to end-users, resolving issues within defined SLAs, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. It includes identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, supporting IT projects, and fostering collaboration. Additionally, the role promotes ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING             

  • Demonstrated proficiency in a 1st/2nd line support environment, showcasing hands-on experience and a solid understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Demonstrates robust technical proficiency in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, MS Office 365 and Azure
  • Extensive knowledge and practical expertise in supporting Windows 10/11 Operating System(s), ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Proven track record in handling and supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365 Applications, including MS Teams, contributing to efficient and effective workplace solutions.
  • Competence and experience with ServiceNow or any other IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to business needs are essential, along with a customer-focused approach to support.
  • Demonstrates a service-oriented and enthusiastic approach, committed to delivering excellence.
  • Relevant experience or degree level education (Computer Science or other relevant technical discipline)
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation) or willingness to work towards certifications are highly desirable.
