We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA FICO Business/Functional Analyst with a specialisation in Accounting Record to Report (R2R) processes. Reporting to the Global Process Owner, this role involves providing comprehensive support for financial processes, with a focus on process optimization and cross-departmental collaboration.

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA FICO Business/Functional Analyst with a specialisation in Accounting Record to Report (R2R) processes. Reporting to the Global Process Owner, this role involves providing comprehensive support for financial processes, with a focus on process optimization and cross-departmental collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and ECC, coupled with a strong background in financial process analysis and project management.

What you will do?

  • SAP Expertise: In-depth understanding of key functional processes and technical aspects within SAP ECC & S/4 HANA, with a primary focus on Record to Report.
  • Finance Experience: Experience working in finance teams with awareness of accounting processes and systems.
  • Consultancy Background: Experience in Big Four or Tier 1 consultancy environments is a plus.
  • Business Transformation: Proven experience in business transformation or fast-paced change environments.
  • Data Handling: Proficiency in working with vast amounts of data, including experience in data analytics and financial reporting.

What you’ll bring to the role?

  • Financial Systems Proficiency: Expertise in financial software, ERP systems (especially SAP S/4 HANA), financial reporting systems (e.g. SAP FC, SMARTNOTES), and data analytics tools (e.g., SAP BW, DATASPHERE).
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in analysing processes, identifying issues, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders and provide clear user support.
  • Business Process Governance: Knowledge of governance frameworks and process management tools, particularly SAP Signavio.
  • Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
