In Short
As a Data Scientist with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), you will join our innovative Digital Trading team and play a pivotal role in enhancing SM&T’s automated trading infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with the team to analyse and interpret extensive time series data, leveraging LLMs to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will refine our trading strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing advanced predictive models and algorithms, generating insightful visualizations and reports, and effectively communicating findings. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of algorithmic trading strategies and provide support for existing strategies using Python in the energy commodity sector.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include data analysis and insight generation involving analysing large and complex time series data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights using Language Models (LLMs). This process requires a deep understanding of data interpretation and the ability to extract meaningful information from extensive datasets, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic planning based on identified trends.
In addition to analysis, Data Management plays a crucial role. This entails developing and maintaining databases and data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and analysis. Effective data management guarantees that the data is organized, accessible, and ready for analysis, facilitating a seamless flow of information and supporting the overall data analysis process.
